As long as we allow ourselves to believe this nonsense, we will continue to think and feel that we are basically helpless and powerless to do something to change improve our lives and how we feel.

The reality is – your job does not make you feel stressed, the weather does not make you feel miserable, speaking in public does not make you feel anxious, people do not make you feel judged, and panic definitely does not attack you. If what I just said isn’t true, if things did make us feel stressed or anxious, then why don’t we all get stressed or anxious at the same things?

The reason why we don’t get stressed at the same things is the very same reason why we don’t all have the same favourite colour, we don’t all prefer our streak rare, we don’t all love one direction, and why beauty is really in the eye of the beholder. We all think slightly differently about everything, and because of this each and everyone of us feels differently about things.

This means that things and events that happen in our daily lives don’t make us feel the way or act the way we do. It’s how we think about and interpret these daily things and events that makes us feel and act the way we do – this is how YOU create what YOU experience.

We are NOT affected by what is happening around us –  we are affected by our thoughts of whatever is happening around us!

Together with the Thrive Programme® I will illustrate and give you conclusive evidence of how the way in which you think, your beliefs, and your personality all combine to influence how you feel, and react to any given situation. Then you will clearly see how this interaction creates your interpretation of the experience.

Until you become aware of how you do this you will continue your battle against the anxiety, panic and stress and their many manifestations (symptoms) that you believe are happening to you, which are in reality created by you…albeit unknowingly.
